Computer Problems

I am having THE worst computer problems. Last Tuesday and Wednesday it took me literally ALL DAY to be able to do anything on the computer. It kept malfunctioning something terrible. When it did go online it just would not do a thing so we have decided to buy a new computer BUT we can't buy a new one until mid January....boohoo Christmas has to come first when we have kids and grandkids.
I am going to try to update as much as...computer allowing

We done a big grocery shop yesterday. We went to Costco where one of the assistants proceeded to embarrass me. The story goes like this: All my items were put onto the belt, I grabbed two boxes to put the items into as they came down to me but one of the assistants decided she would help to pack our items, I have to say that we prefer to pack our own things ourselves, anyway, she had the longest tarted up finger nails I have ever seen for a shop assistant. At one point she had her hands hanging over the edge of the box into it, as I put a box of strawberries into the box I accidentally caught her finger/finger nail with the edge of the carton and OH MY GOODNESS! She screeched so loudly, "OUCH!" of course everyone looked and I immediately felt so embarrassed by the way she screeched at me, I  immediately said, "Oh! I am so sorry!" She then put her back to me and wouldn't speak or acknowledge AT ALL! She eventually turned around and spoke to the cashier and said, " I was frightened to look at my finger because I thought my cuticle was cut but it wasn't". I tell you, there was NOT A MARK on her finger AT ALL! She then turned away and helped someone else. I'm sure she could have acknowledged me and accepted my apology or something...the nasty piece of work, I did apologise, what more could I have done? It's not as though I tried to hurt her deliberately. The cashier even smiled at me because she couldn't see a mark on the assistants finger either and that she made a deal about it.
Anyway, I also bought a good few of the Christmas presents, I just have two more presents to buy and that is me done...woohoo.
I have only just put the Christmas tree up today and I still haven't got any ornaments on it yet, I will do that tomorrow.

I have decided that come January 2015 I am giving it my all to get to goal weight before I turn 50 years old, so that gives me 1 year to do this. I turn 49 years old on January 8th, so one year, surely I can do this! I never wanted to be fat and forty but unfortunately I have just got bigger in my 40's and I am also going through the menopause which doesn't help keep our weights down or lose weight so I have decided that I am going to be fit and fifty, so it will be full steam ahead to lose the weight and get fit!

Over this last week or so I have been cleaning every nook and cranny in my home and I mean EVERY nook and cranny. I have had to do a thorough clean to make sure I have got all the saw dust out from when my hubby was sanding the stairs over the last month or so. I still have one or two things to still clean but I can say that all the saw dust has gone now...all cleaned away. I always do a thorough cleaning of my home at Christmas time and I always will and of course I do my daily cleans and occasional deeper clean throughout the years but the Christmas clean is THE BIGGY! Tomorrow I will be getting on with that last few jobs of cleaning and finish sorting the tree.

I will try to get back tomorrow, I need to find photo's to take to put here...if my computer will let me.

Night night

Friday

I didn't manage to fall asleep until after 4am this morning and because of that I didn't get the best sleep at the right time during the night, all to do with the body clock and so I have been quite tired throughout today. I have also had a migraine for most of the day which always make me tired.

I haven't done much today but I am getting on with it now despite it being 8.02pm. I have so much to do before tomorrow night which is the end of my Christmas cleaning week....for this week anyway and then I have more jobs to do next week and so on until Christmas Eve.

I received our youngest Grandson's Christmas present today which is a dressing up trunk because he just LOVES to dress up.

I don't have anything else to say today but I want to come back daily even if it is just to say, "hello"

Back tomorrow.

I Thought I Had Lost You All

For a moment there I could not sign in to my blogger and I thought that I had lost you all...worried there for a moment but FINALLY I am here!
We have been very busy lately...with what? I hear you ask, well, we have been sanding our staircase back down to wood...and what a job that has been, and the mess...WOW! The mess, it got everywhere. Thankfully it is done and the staircase is back down to the wood now and varnished. We still need to replace the landing carpet and we also want to replace the hand rail and spindles which we are doing in January, lets get the Christmas shopping out of the way first.
After we have replaced the spindles and handrail then I will post the before and after photo's.
I have had mega cleaning to do after all the saw dust that was created doing those stairs but I do my thorough cleaning at this time of year anyway which I have been doing loads of. Every cupboard, every corner and even the walls have and are being cleaned. My hubby also painted the stair, landing and front hall walls and glossed skirting boards and door frames.

My washing machine packed up at the end of October and I was without a washing machine for a week....ARRRGGHH Got my new machine now, just what I needed to have to buy at this time of year...ah well, needs must no matter what time of year and I am very grateful to have been able to buy a bigger and better washing machine :)

I have been feeling quite down/depressed over these last couple of weeks despite being on anti depressants, but I think it is starting to lift.

My weight is at 14st 13lb and has been fluctuating between 14st 13lb and 14st 10lb for the last few weeks.

There was loads more I was going to say but I can't remember what they were now...well, it is 1.02am so after a sleep I might remember what I wanted to say and I will blog about it tomorrow...or should I say, later today. Oh! One thing I have just remembered is that we are going to have to buy a new computer early next year because this computer has now become laughable....well, if I don't laugh I will cry because it is extremely frustrating when it wont do nothing or jumps back to the desk top, and when it will do something it can take forever. We do all the clean ups etc etc but to be honest it hasn't got the biggest memory and it has got quite a lot on it, so a new computer is definitely called for.

We have a few jobs that we want to get sorted next year and things that need buying and a computer is on that list.

Night night for now.

Still Here

I am going to get back to blogging, we have been very busy lately but I will be back this week!!

Those Scales

I have replaced my 'Weight Watchers' Body Analyser scales. I really need to know all the gory details of my weigh ins.

I weighed in this morning using my new scales and because I knew I was getting my new scales I confess to not tracking points over these last few days, but here are a few of my details for now without the body fat, body water and body fat %. I will figure out how to find the body fat etc details and update them here.

Weight: 15st . 2 3/8lb
10% Goal: 13st . 9lb
BMI: 36.5
To Lose To 10%: 1st . 7 3/4lb

It has taken a matter of a few days and already I have gained back what I had lost....oh my!

This morning I have started my day off with a green smoothie...YUM! I had bought some fresh figs when we were at Costco so I threw one of those in also.

"Thankyou Chargaile for your comment, I appreciate all comments, thankyou!"

I will pop back later today with more updates.

Monday 15 September 2014

Busy Lately

We have been busy shopping over the last few days with stocking up on groceries and starting the Christmas shopping.

First thing was to stock up on more items from Weight Watchers:

2 Weight Watchers, 'My Food Plans' which also has a pad for shopping lists
2 boxes of the 'Rich Toffee' bars = 2pp each
2 boxes of the NEW 'Dark Chocolate Mint Crunch' bars = 2pp each
4 packets of 'Fruit Bears' = 2pp per packet
1 Weight Watchers 'Oil Sprayer'

After popping into the local 'Weight Watchers' meeting we then went to Costco. It was lovely and quiet in there, but then it would be we were in there at about 9.40am but it started to fill up before we were finished getting our groceries. I spent way to much, it came in at £279.38...Oops! I had to buy more than I usually do because I had to stock up on coffee, chickens, hand washes, body washes etc

After Costco we came home to put everything away. It was then to Argos to get our youngest son a new mobile phone, he needed one because he is now at college.
We spent a few hours at home and then Asda to get the immediate items i.e. cheeses, yogurts, fruit and veg, mini pizza bases, mash pots, chicken kievs, toiletries.

We had a bag of chip shop chips for our evening meal and I have to confess to not tracking over these last 3 days...so disappointed in myself because I had every intention of not leaving the house hungry and sticking to plan on this shopping day but I succumb to naughty treats....I really am going to be more organised when I next do my big grocery shop....a work in progress.

I have ordered a new set of 'Weight Watchers' scales; body analysis scales so I will know my body fat and BMI. My Tanita scales are FABULOUS! And they do tell me my body fat but I do like to know my BMI and my Tanita don't tell me that.

We have started Christmas shopping with a PC for our middle son which I am pleased about because that is one of the main pricier presents sorted :) 3 more to go. I have also started purchasing bits and pieces for Christmas presents.

I am back on track as of tomorrow so I will be back then.

Friday 12 September 2014

Going Back Over :)

A good so many years ago I lost weight following Weight Watchers and I was well into my routines i.e. housework, exercise and beauty, well, it appears that I am going back over and  I am getting myself back into things again, albeit slowly but it is certainly happening and I LOVE IT!!

I have had a good week tracking my points this week and although I haven't done any exercise DVD's I have been very busy and keeping active with my housework and following my housework rota. I have missed not doing my exercise DVD'S so I am getting back to it next week....YEAH BABY!!

My hubby and sons all went to their talk yesterday evening so I decided to treat myself to some icecream....NO! not dairy icecream...NO! -  I had banana icecream and I used my 'Dessert Bullet' for the first time.

This cost me 5pp - or maybe 4pp - I can't remember whether the caramel topping was 1pp for 2 tablespoons or 2pp for 2 tablespoons but I counted 2pp just to be on the safe side.

I alternated frozen banana (0pp) with 25g of white chocolate chips (3pp) into the feed tube of my 'Dessert Bullet' using the star nozzle, I then topped it off with the caramel sauce....YUMMY! OH MY!
The chocolate chips came out in little bits with most of them stuck in the components of the nozzle so next time I might melt the chocolate drops and drizzle it into the feed shoot with the bananas, hopefully it wont harden before it all gets pushed through the nozzle.

After my shower this evening I decided to give myself a diamond peel, so I rummaged for my diamond peel machine and I done the peel...blissful

Well, apart from doing more housework today that is it, until tomorrow, night night!

Driving, Housework, Food Find

It is still dark in the morning when I wake up...nice! I wake up with my husband; he gets up at around 5.30am....madness! He gets up at that time to get himself sorted because he starts work at 7am - Anyway I was up and at it bright and early and my first port of call was to clean the cats litter tray....isn't that a lovely job to do first thing in the morning?!...NOT! I then wiped down my downstairs loo wall tiles...another lovely job first thing in the morning...YEUK! I then fed and watered the cat and opened the patio doors for her to go into the conservatory where she loves to sit all day, although she isn't going in so much now because it is getting cooler here in the UK.

I then got a beef casserole started in the slow cooker for the hubby and boys evening meal tonight. Hubby and boys are off to a talk tonight about railways and staithes that used to be in the town where we live, and because of the time the talk starts I thought a casserole would be ideal so they can either have it before they go or just have a snack and have the casserole when they get back.

I had done all those jobs before 6.45am....phew!
After doing the above I then jumped under the shower. After my shower I stripped my bed and got the laundry started; I have quite a few loads of laundry to get through today.

This week my youngest son started college and of course I have to drive him there and pick him up which means me going there and back twice a day every day for 3 days a week, but it also means that I don't need to drive him and collect him today and tomorrow, or the weekend of course.

I have been getting stuck into housework this last week also and it feels great. I think the reason I am able to get on with it is because my sons are up and out of bed because of my youngest attending college, now I can make the noise...WooHoo i.e the vacuum etc - I just get on with things....oh! I can hear that a load of laundry has finished so I must go and get it into the tumble dryer and get another load in...I am on a roll, it is only 9.10am.

My food find today:

These work out at 1pp each or 7pp for the whole box. They aren't very big, one skewer is probably under the 1pp but it is always taken to the next highest if it is above 1/2pp.
As you can see I bought them from Iceland for £2 per box.

Here is my evening meal with NO veg...TUT TUT! I was tired so I just oven baked the skewers and then heated a packet of my 'Eat Water' noodles which are 0 points for half a packet but because I had the full packet I like to play it safe so I counted 1pp....probably just 1/2pp but I ain't taking any chances with my points :)

Well that is me for now and if I have anything else to report today then I will certainly get back.

Monday 8 September 2014

Breakfast, Daily Life, Food Find

I got up bright and early, got showered, dressed etc then made a smoothie; a green smoothie consisting of:
Spinach
Apple
Coconut water.

It was then time to get my youngest son up, fed etc and off to college; he is studying computers....brainy little tike! He really is a computer geek. We always shout on him when we have a computer problem and he always sorts it for us, he amazes me every time!!

When I got back from college I made my smoothie for breakfast consisting of:
1 cup Natural Fat Free Yogurt
1 Banana, frozen
Blueberries

This actually worked out at 4pp, a lot but still 1pp saved from my usual breakfast.

I am now ready to get todays housework done which also includes:
Clean bathroom
Clean downstairs loo
Clean back door glass, patio glass doors and kitchen window, and if I can manage it then the conservatory windows also.
Clean inside 1 kitchen cupboard

My latest food find is Cheese Crackerbread at 1pp each

These are rather nice. I bought them from Asda. Unfortunately I can't remember how much they were.

Oh! I have posted the photo of my latest Weight Watchers haul on my previous blog post.

Okay, that is me for now but I will probably get back later today:)

Saturday 6 September 2014

I haven't updated for a week....naughty! But here I am now!

I weighed in this morning at 14st 13.5lb and my body fat percentage is down to 48%....WooooHooo - I am SUPER pleased about that!

My hubby popped into the Weight Watchers meeting for me to purchase a few things. He bought me the latest Weight Watchers magazine and a set of Weight Watchers measuring spoons.

I have been looking at the recipe's in the new Weight Watchers magazine and there is one that I intend to make, probably this week, actually there are a few nice recipe's that I may make between now and the next magazine coming out when of course there will be more new recipe's...YUM!

The kids are back to school which is great because the avenue is so much quieter during the day :)

Not a lot to report. It has been quite a pleasant day, the avenue has been quite nice today also. We bought a few groceries and bought a few items from the meeting, done my weigh in and had an afternoon nap, and that is it today.

Saturday 30 August 2014

Another Happy Saturday

I was up at around 8.00am this morning to let my hubby know what I wanted from the local Weight Watchers meeting which started at 9.00am. I just wanted porridge oats today. He always does my Weight Watchers shopping...bless!

We stocked up on a few groceries at Asda this morning. I am giving myself two weeks to sort out menu plans so I can shop according to exactly what is needed for that weeks menu's because I am spending far too much on groceries just incase I decide to cook that item purchased and often I don't then sometimes unless it is frozen it ends up wasted....not good!

I am going to do housework today, spend time with my hubby, sons and Grandson and basically just enjoy the day. We have nothing planned but just being with them all is super!

I should be back later today to update on the rest of the day:)

Friday 29 August 2014

Stocking Up, Shopping & Food Finds

First of all, I exercised all this week except this morning because I was feeling a little iffy in the tummy, but four days out of five is pretty good going for me! I'm pleased with that. The 'Slim In 6' is a five day week programme.

I have my Grandson, Michael here. He is sleeping which he loves to do, probably because he has us wrapped round his little finger but he is SOOO CUTE!

Over the last few weeks I have been stocking up on my all time favourite essential cleaning products. I am stocking up on things for my mega big Christmas deep cleaning, you know, that cleaning when I pull everything out and clean behind things, on top of things, inside of things and so on.

Two bottles of pet Bissell carpet shampoo which is recommended to use with my very heavy Bissell cleaning machine. I clean my bedroom carpets, living room rug, landings and stair carpets with these products. I do clean my big living room rug occasionally throughout the year, and other carpets if I need to but they do get the mega clean at Christmas time.
I also stocked up on my Karcher window solution, WOW! This stuff is brilliant!
I also stocked up on air freshener machines, lavender for upstairs and, crisp linen and lilac fragrance for the downstairs entrance hall.

I am always trying to find equipment that makes it quicker and easier to keep on top of the mid weekly household jobs, so I decided to purchase the new Merlin handy vac for my laminate floors and to quickly go over the stairs and bedrooms daily inbetween the big vacuum that I do on Tuesday's. It just helps me keep well on top of things and the house always looks clean and tidy.
The swiffer. I already have one of these that I keep for my bathroom, loo and downstairs loo but I wanted one for my kitchen floor. I know that I could change the pads for the different rooms but I just did not like the idea of using a mop on my kitchen floor that is designated for a bathroom and loo and downstairs loo.

I received my Degusta subscription box yesterday.

Mexican Dave's lightly salted tortilla chips.
Berry White organic and no added sugar drink.
2 Schwartz Flavour Shots.
Caribbean Twist Strawberry Daiquiri drink.
Lindt Chocolates.
Cawston Press Apple & Pear drink.
Brioche Pasquier; 8 pack.
Brioche Pasquier; 6 chocolate pack.
Dr Oetker Edible Wafer baking cases.
A voucher for a free 4 pack Bircher Muesli Yogurts.

I have also been buying a few other bits and pieces over the last couple of weeks.

This is fantastic! It is a single induction hob and WOW! I have used it a few times and it is so quick it is unbelievable! I bought it for several reasons. It will be good come Christmas time.
I had also thought about maybe, just maybe doing a recipe video and this will be ideal if I need to use a hob.

When we purchased the hob the guy asked if I wanted the pan for the induction hob, I said no because I knew that my pans are suitable for induction, and the way to tell if your pans are suitable is to get a magnet and if the magnet sticks to the bottom of your pan then it is suitable to use on an induction hob which mine are.

My two new Boyfriend cardigans. They are a bit crinkled because I left them rolled up in my wardrobe.....naughty but they are hanging up in there now.
The black one isn't marked it is from my hands, I had talc on my hands....ooops! It will dust off.

Next is this: Eggies! These will hard boil or soft boil eggs without the shells. Maybe I will demonstrate this using my induction hob:) More on this will come!

Now food finds: New to me.

Small wraps for 2pp each. These are small as I said but great for a low point lunch or snack. I bought these from Sainsbury's

Mac n Cheese. Each sachet serves 2 but one portion works out at 7pp. I bought these from Asda.

This petite pain which I got in my Degusta box works out at 3pp which isn't bad. I have put the fork beside one of them to show the size.

There you have it, my latest everything. Nothing else has been happening but I am challenging myself to update daily!!

BACK TOMORROW!  :)

Wednesday 27 August 2014

For 3 Days....

Current BMI: 36

I have been exercising, yep, I have been doing my 'Slim In 6' DVD's. I am still on the first DVD of course as this is only my 3rd day and boy! Is it exercise! It isn't high impact, it's more moving, working, defining and toning the body, I can really feel it in my arms. The first and second day I had to put my hands on my waist because I simply could not keep my arms up and moving any longer but today I was just about able to get through the whole DVD and keep my arms moving, I only rested my arms for two lifts...pretty good eh?!

I have been tracking really well and I am hoping for another loss next weigh in which incidentally are back to Monday's. I lost 1.5lb this last week. I will update my chart on the right.

I purchased two Boyfriend cardigans from Asda last week; one size 18 in Blue and the other size 20 in Black. I thought the black size 20 would be a good fit but I feel it is a little snug and I want it looser, whether it is because it is new and needs to go through the wash a few times or what I don't know but it is a little snug for my liking....GOSH! I am bigger than I realised.

I bought a couple other little bits and pieces for using in the kitchen and food finds that I will post photos of later today....watch this space!!

Back later

Home Made Laundry Sheet Idea

I watched a You Tube on how to make laundry sheet type things so when I was in Asda I bought the items I needed, although I need to buy another bottle of fabric softener to top my jar up. Anyway here it is:

The Items Needed

Kitchen Sponges
Fabric Softener
Lidded Jar
Pair of Scissors

Cut the sponges into approximately 1" squares.
Put the cut sponges into the jar.

Pour over the fabric softener to cover the sponges - I need to buy another bottle of fabric softener because I didn't have enough to cover the sponges.
Put the lid on the jar and leave for a while so the sponges can soak up as much of the fabric softener as possible.

When you are about to put your laundry into the tumble dryer just squeeze the dripping excess fabric softener out of a sponge and place the lid back on the jar.

Put the sponge/s into the tumble dryer along with your freshly washed clothes and use as you would a dryer sheet - *NOTE* I am putting a couple of sponges in with my freshly washed laundry. It will depend on the amount of laundry you are drying at that time.
When the laundry is dry remove the sponge and place it back into the jar along with the other sponges and fabric softener. You can reuse the sponges until they are basically starting to fall to bits.
This tip really works and certainly saves a pretty penny or two.

Back tomorrow with a Weight Watchers update and more photo's

My Scales Wont Work

My fabulous Weight Watchers scales have broken, well, actually, they work up to the point when I have to tap them then that is it, they wont go off tap....boohoo....sad about that! I will buy some more soon, but in the meantime I have my Tanita scales which are also fabulous but they are harsh, they always weigh me heavier....well that is my excuse...heehee.

I have been in and out the house lately with grocery shopping. Over this last week I have been to Costco, Asda about 4 times, Sainsbury's, Homebase and Aldi. I have just been going through one of those phases of shopping. I have more photo's which I will upload tomorrow.

I also bought a few more Weight Watcher items. I know I already have the cake pop moulds but I wanted a second set so when I make one lot I will make a second lot to fill the oven shelf up :)
I also bought a second journal so I have another to continue on with. The latte drinks aren't too bad. This is the first time I have bought those.

I found these in Asda, I have never seen these before. I haven't tried them yet but I am sure they will be yummy!

Either back later today or tomorrow with photo's

Week 1 & Food Find

I actually forgot to an update yesterday, infact my brain was just not in place all day, better today though....heehee

I went over points by 5 yesterday but I did have 1.5 from Monday, so I would say that I am 3.5 pp over up to now, unless I can recoup them before next Monday. I still have 49 weekly pp so any points over might have to come off those.

I discovered a new food, well, actually, it's new to me as I have never had these before.

Batchelors Deli Box. I bought Sweet & Sour and the BBQ Beef. These both worked out at 7 pp each. I had the Sweet & Sour for lunch today. When I added the water I thought, noway is this going to feed me, there seemed to be very little in the box but I was surprised to not be craving anything else soon after eating it. I didn't realise that I was satisfied until a little while after eating it, so for that reason I will buy these a little more often for when I am feeling really hungry. I bought these from Asda at £1.19 each. They will be available in all supermarkets.

Today

Breakfast
30g Special K = 3pp
1 Mullerlight Yogurt = 2pp
1 0% Actimel = 1pp

Lunch
Batchelors Deli Box = 7pp

Dinner

Snack/Dessert

Today I have been doing laundry and now I am going to get stuck into some housework, plenty to do around here.

Back later today.

Monday 11 August 2014

Focused - 12 Week

I have started my new Weight Watchers journal as of today despite my weigh ins being on Thursday's. I have filled in details from last Thursday's weigh in and off I go :) The journal is for 12 weeks so I am going to stay focused and challenge myself to stay on track for the 12 weeks. All I need to do is for one of my sons to take a full body photo of me today and I will print that off and stick that into my journal in the designated space.

One thing I forgot to add to my Weight Watchers haul photo the other day was these: Strawberry Hearts

1pp for a full box, not bad, although I don't think I could eat a full box in a day because they are a hard-ish gum type sweet and they probably have a laxative effect.

*UPDATED*

Breakfast:
40g High Bran 3pp
1 x 0% Actimel 1pp

Lunch:
Cooked Ham 3.5pp
2 WW Malted Slices 2pp

Remaining pp 1.5

I have had a very successful day of tracking today, I am very pleased! Day 2 of my 12 week challenge tomorrow.

I watched a little bit of my 'Slim In 6' DVD's and of course I got up and started to exercise, I only managed 5 minutes and already my arms and back were aching, BOY! That is going to work, or I'm just so unfit....both!

I seriously need to get into my housework. I didn't manage to get much done at all today because my eldest son, Michael, his girlfriend and 2 of my Grandchildren came to visit and brought my middle son, Adam his Birthday cards and presents. Adam is 19 years old today :)
"Happy Birthday Baby"

I will list my jobs for tomorrow.

I have printed my before photo's. That is the last time I will have a photo taken of me looking like that!!

It has been more of a Winters day today with strong winds and rain...WE LOVE IT!

Okay then, I will be back tomorrow :)

Weight Watchers Haul

My lovely hubby popped into the local Weight Watchers meeting for me so I could stock up. I will put a photo here later today.

I have lost 2  3/4lb this week which I am surprised about because I have eaten a few bags of chip shop chips over this last week, it will probably catch up with me in my next weight in...I HOPE NOT THOUGH!!.
When my hubby and sons want chippy chips they wont have any unless I have a bag also so I feel forced to have a bag so I don't disappoint them, but I have now impressed on my hubby that this is spoiling my tracking for me sometimes, I have to say also that chippy chips don't always agree with me, so not haven't them is a win win situation for me. I know that allowing them to eat more than the occasional bag of chippy chips is not good for them so I have told them that they can't have any more for a good while. I have stocked up on a few groceries this morning and I will be making them proper meals.

*UPADTED*
Here is my Weight Watchers haul photo.

When I got up this morning I coloured my hair; the grey was shinning through quite nicely...NOT! I don't like to see my grey.

I have been jotting food meal idea's down when I see them for when I am stuck for something to make for one of my meals, I think this will be quite useful.

I have been going through my exercise DVD's and I have quite a few that I want to start doing, so watch this space...WooHoo.

Well that is from me for today. I will be back tomorrow.

Sunday 3 August 2014

Staying On Track

I am staying on track although not with the best food choices but on track nonetheless.

I was woken up by the usual sound of two dogs barking a few doors down. The woman who owns the dogs allows her dogs to start barking in her garden from around 6.30am-ish most mornings including weekends. No-one seems to have any consideration for anyone else around here. When we first moved here it was bliss but over the years inconsiderate folk have moved in around us.

I had my usual morning shower and I also done a face scrub. I am slowly starting to get msyelf back on track with my rota's also...very happy about that :)

Photo's

This is what I asked my hubby to get for me from the local Weight Watchers meeting. I am excited to try the marinade, and all I can say about the bars is...YUM! Is the only word for these. I think these are my favourites.

Fluff, now, I know this is NOT the best food choice in the world but we all know a little bit of what you fancy and all that! So I bought a jar of this for a wild treat thinking that is was going to cost me dearly in points but I was SOO surprised to see that it is ONLY 1pp per 2 tablespoons, well, how could I resist this for the OCCASIONAL treat!! All I have to do now is to not sit and eat the whole jar in one sitting whilst counting points with every tablespoon full, and yep, I could probably do that....SHOCK! But I wont!!!

This is my latest jewellery making haul. I now have so many idea's rattling around in my head, and I have made a few bits and pieces, not quite good enough to post photo's of yet. I have been making bits and pieces using the less valuable wires, stone/beads etc first and when I have mastered it to a BRILLIANT standard then I will be using the more precious gems.

Rubber block: this gives a different affect when hammering than what I get using the metal block
Square wire bending pliers for when I am using my square wire. I need to get the half round wire bending pliers but they were out of stock.

A close up photo of the latest two strands I bought:
40ct Amethyst Bicones
60ct Lemon Gold Colour Coated Pyrite Graduated Faceted gems.

I thought I would post this, a photo of the other side of the box for my multi cooker showing the features.
I am rather impressed with this.

Well I will be back tomorrow.

Weight Watchers & More Shopping

I have been terrible with my tracking over this last week or so and basically just eaten what I want when I want. Once I go off track I find it so difficult to get back on track but as of yesterday, 1st August I am there, back on track!! WOOP!
I just can't allow myself to not portion control, point everything and not eat the right things because over the last fews years I have gradually got heavier and heavier and I just can't do that because I can clearly see myself spiralling completely out of control and being so large...this scares me SO MUCH! I have never been as heavy as I am now at 15st 2lb. My heaviest was 15st 3lb and I just know that if I don't do something serious about it NOW I am going to deeply regret it!!

I am back up to 29 daily pro points and 49 weekly pro points for extra's if needed.

Yesterday's food menu:

Breakfast
40g Speical K = 4pp
1 Mullerlight Yogurt = 2pp

Lunch
2 Peaches = 0pp
1 square Green & Blacks chocolate = 1pp

Dinner
1 bag Chip shop chips = 16pp
2 white chocolate Bubble snack bars = 4pp

Snack/Evening
1 cup of drinking chocolate = 3pp

Total spent = 30pp
1 pp over

Anyway, my buys. I got another surprise box a few days ago. I subscribed to the 'Degusta' box which is a monthly thing and is full of food and drink things. All pointed by me I might add.

Popcorn
Blueberry Cider
Zeo soft drinks
Maggie cook/roasting bag in seasonings/flavourings
Green & Blacks chocolate
Dr Oetker cake decorations
Recipe card with 2 recipe's

I spotted a few items in Aldi's when I was there on Tuesday that I couldn't resist. I don't go spending every day, I seem to buy a good few things in bursts :)

A multi cooker and WOW! This thing is FABULOUS!! It is a pressure cooker and everything cooker.
I have cooked rice in it up to now but I have a lot of things that I want to cook in it. It was only £34.99 I have seen multi cookers without the pressure cooker for much more than this....I had to get it while I could. There was this one and another which had already been opened, so of course I bought the multi cooker that hadn't been opened.

Accessories that came with the multi cooker.

Here you can read everything that this multi cooker can do.

Brownie Maker
I also saw this and thought it would be good for portion control when making brownies or other cake/dessert items. It has the separating part inside.

And it is PINK.

Last but not least, Sundae glasses for when I get on and use my 'Dessert Bullet' and make my icecreams

Well that is my latest spend except for today when I asked my darling hubby to pop to a local Weight Watchers meeting for me for a few items. I will post pictures.

Shopping and Suprises

I have been quite busy with shopping, housework and gardening etc.

On Saturday morning myself and my hubby went to Asda for groceries. When we came back we done a tad of gardening. I cleared away all the brambles from the top of my garden, I wouldn't care but I did hack down some blackberry brambles also...*sniff* I had to because they were quite overgrown. The top of my garden looks fab now :)

Sunday was a quiet day of basically doing nothing...a relaxing day....ahhhh bliss!

Monday, I received surprises, I say surprises because I didn't know what was going to be inside the Birch box, Glossy box and the mystery gift from Jewellery Maker.  I received my first Birch box and Glossy box.....WooHoo

Pearl reamer

Gold wire

3 strands of quartz
flash gold spacer beads
115 piece findings pack
Gold beading thread
2 rolls twisted wire

Monday also consisted of cleaning my bathroom :)
After eating my evening meal last night I noticed that part of one of my molar teeth had broken away, so that means another expensive visit to my dentist :(

Today, Tuesday I phoned my dentist to make an appointment with my Dentist to get my tooth fixed. I have an appointment for next week....be glad when it is fixed.
After ringing the dentist I decided to pop to Aldi. It's been quite a while since I last had a good old rummage in Aldi so this morning I went. I will show you tomorrow what I bought. I bought some groceries aswell as a few other items.
When I got back from Aldi I popped into town to deposit some money into my bank. On the way back home I spotted my Grandson, Michael at his Nanna's house, so I turned around and pulled up to say hello, he was looking ever so glum :( He was bored, so I asked his Nanna if he could come back with me to play on Uncle Adam and Uncle James' computers. His Nanna doesn't have anything like computers at her house. I didn't want to take away Nanna and grandson time but she was more than happy with him coming back with me because of him being so bored, so we have had my Grandson here for most of the day, he is SOOO CUTE!!
I also vacuumed my bedrooms, landing and stairs.

Well that is it for now. I will be back tomorrow with photos and a full update of my Weight Watchers.
