Shopping and Suprises

I have been quite busy with shopping, housework and gardening etc.

On Saturday morning myself and my hubby went to Asda for groceries. When we came back we done a tad of gardening. I cleared away all the brambles from the top of my garden, I wouldn't care but I did hack down some blackberry brambles also...*sniff* I had to because they were quite overgrown. The top of my garden looks fab now :)

Sunday was a quiet day of basically doing nothing...a relaxing day....ahhhh bliss!

Monday, I received surprises, I say surprises because I didn't know what was going to be inside the Birch box, Glossy box and the mystery gift from Jewellery Maker.  I received my first Birch box and Glossy box.....WooHoo

Monday also consisted of cleaning my bathroom :)
After eating my evening meal last night I noticed that part of one of my molar teeth had broken away, so that means another expensive visit to my dentist :(

Today, Tuesday I phoned my dentist to make an appointment with my Dentist to get my tooth fixed. I have an appointment for next week....be glad when it is fixed.
After ringing the dentist I decided to pop to Aldi. It's been quite a while since I last had a good old rummage in Aldi so this morning I went. I will show you tomorrow what I bought. I bought some groceries aswell as a few other items.
When I got back from Aldi I popped into town to deposit some money into my bank. On the way back home I spotted my Grandson, Michael at his Nanna's house, so I turned around and pulled up to say hello, he was looking ever so glum :( He was bored, so I asked his Nanna if he could come back with me to play on Uncle Adam and Uncle James' computers. His Nanna doesn't have anything like computers at her house. I didn't want to take away Nanna and grandson time but she was more than happy with him coming back with me because of him being so bored, so we have had my Grandson here for most of the day, he is SOOO CUTE!!
I also vacuumed my bedrooms, landing and stairs.

Well that is it for now. I will be back tomorrow with photos and a full update of my Weight Watchers.

Lots & I Didn't Realise....

That I hadn't updated for such a long time :(

Okay then, the school holidays have started and the school Summer holidays are definitely getting longer with 7 weeks holiday this year....that is ridiculous!! But I am trying my best to use the 7 weeks productively by giving myself a challenge to do my rota's and point well.

Today I have degunked....eewww...heehee - I have cleaned the bathroom thoroughly. I have washed the tiles on the walls, steamed the loo etc, things I wouldn't normally do as often. I still need to do more from today's rota which I am just going to have to do tomorrow as extra's.

I bought a new cupboard for my entrance hall last week:

LOVE IT!! Smells of wood. It is solid oak, I think it was oak, I can't remember now, it was just last week....DOH! Either way, it is solid wood :)

Next, I bought a new Ewbank floor polisher with onboard vacuum, the little Ewbank that I bought a month or so ago just wasn't cutting it, but this one...WOW!

I subscribed to Graze but I have since cancelled. I know they aren't expensive at £3.99 every two weeks but nope! They are not for me.

After buying my new Tassimo machine I registered it with Tassimo and I was sent two £10 off vouchers so I bought these flavours of drink using one of my £10 vouchers....YUM! I do have to count the points for the milky drinks but the tea's are free

Now for two new foods finds

Biscuit moments
These come in 5 x 2 packs and are 3pp per pack of 2 biscuits in this flavour.
They are very nice too :)

New Metcalfe's Skinny Topcorn - This flavour is 2pp per bag of popcorn.
I had never tried sweet n salty flavour before, that flavour just never appealed to me but I decided to give it a go and I did enjoy them.

I have new photo's for tomorrow of a few more buys and another food find.

Night night for now.

Oopsie Rolls

I have had another successful day and another bag of chip shop chips...YIKES! But it has to be said that they were counted in with 2 points left for the day...WELL, GO ME!

Today's Food

Breakfast:
40g Albran = 3pp
1 0% Actimel = 1pp
Strawberries, sliced

Lunch:
I fell asleep...helped to save points.

Dinner:
Chip Shop Chips = 16pp - these are 14 pp in the Weight Watchers, 'Eating Out' guide, I am counting 16pp
1 Weight Watchers slice of bread = 1pp

Nibbles:
1 bag of Walkers Pops crisps/snacks just before falling asleep = 2pp
3 Oopsie Rolls = 3pp

Total spent = 26 pp

I didn't have the dessert today that I want to show you but I did make the recipe that I found on You Tube. I said yesterday that it only uses 2 ingredients but it uses 3 ingredients.

Oopsie Rolls
Makes 12 muffin rolls at 1 pp per roll or 6 flat breads at 2 pp per bread

3 Eggs, seperated
1/4tsp TarTar Powder
3oz Soft Cheese

1. Preheat the oven to 300 degs (150 degs)
2. Spray a 12 cup muffin pan or baking sheet.
3. Separate the eggs
4. Add the tartar powder into the egg whites and whisk to stiff peeks.
5. To the egg yolks add the cream cheese and whisk until well incorporated.
6. Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mix.
7. Divide between a 12 cup muffin pan or spread into rounds on a baking sheet.
8. Bake  for approximately 30 mins.

I will make these in rounds the next time

DEFINITELY spray the pan or sheet because these stick. I used a silicone pan but I didn't spray it because I thought they would NOT stick to silicone....THEY DID!

This is the soft cheese I used.

These Oopsie rolls are nice but I am going to add some seasoning the next time I make them because they were a tad bland, so maybe salt, garlic powder, onion powder, or even herbs i.e. parsley, sage etc - anything!!

Back tomorrow

Weigh In

I have changed my weigh in day to Saturday instead of Monday. I feel Saturday will be better for me because we relax a little bit at the weekends, although I am still pointing everything. We are having chip shop chips for our evening meal tonight which has become a weekend treat, I will be pointing these into my day but because they are a higher fat meal I decided to change my weigh in day to Saturday.
My weigh in is FANTASTIC! And this is after just 5 days of pointing, anyway, I have lost 5 3/4lb....WOOOHOOO - I am of course very pleased with this! I can't wait for next week's weigh in now! :) Oh! I have just checked and I am down 1 daily point...boohoo :) instead of 29 daily points, I am now allowed 28 daily points, still allowed the 49 weekly points though, I think the 49 weekly points are always allowed just the daily points change with weight loss which is still GOOD! :) it means I am on the right track...YeeHaa :)

We've been to Asda this morning for a few groceries...HAPPY! I love it when we have more groceries in to make recipe's etc, Oh! I watched a yummy recipe on You Tube yesterday that I am going to have to make, and it has only two ingredients, I don't think it will be high in points either, I will have to work the points out. I will post a photo of the recipe and points when I make it.

I had a terrible fright last night, once again someone tried to take funds from my bank account. I immediately got in touch with the bank and anyone else that I needed to and it is all sorted.

My latest photo's

A GORGEOUS jewellery making bundle.

The latest Weight Watchers, 'Your Week' magazine and Weight Watchers pan liners. I am going to use these liners in my microwave.

Appointments & Days Update

I've had 3 appointments this week. Monday I had to wait for a Telecom man to install fibre for our broadband, the guy turned up half an hour early which was good. Tuesday I had a visitor who I had to wait in for, and on Wednesday I had a dental appointment, all done, thank goodness.

Now, photo's of a few things that I purchased in June.

A few fun DVD's. I have quite wanted the Kardy-o-fun DVD for a little while now and I only paid a few pund for it from Ebay...SCORE

A few Weight Watchers books. The Chickenlicious is the latest Weight Watchers book.

2014 Weight Watchers, 'Your Week' magazines...BRILLIANT! I bought them as a bundle from Ebay and they did come with other Weight Watcher items which I am happy about! :)

AHA! 'Eat Water, Slim Pasta'. These work out at ZERO points...yeah baby! And they are DELICOUS!! They don't smell too great when the packet is first opened, but just rinse heat and eat. They can be used in any rice or pasta recipe as standard rice and pasta...GREAT!!

The Dessert Bullet. I was going to buy the Yonanas but after reading the reviews I decided not to and bought the Dessert Bullet instead. We all know the Bullet range are super so that is another reason I decided on the Dessert Bullet.

The sticky buddy. These are everlasting and are money saving. They also come in the three different sizes...SUPER!

My Pro Points allowance is 29 daily Pro Points and 49 weekly Pro Points.
All this week I have pointed and if I have gone over I have reduced the following days points rather than dip into my weekly points allowance, so today I was allowed 25 Pro Points because I went over yesterday. I have had sufficient to eat today and yet I still have 1 1/2 Pro Points left...WooHoo
I have been super good with my pointing this last week and I fully intend on continuing to point.

Today, I received a few little orders, photo of those tomorrow.

I WILL be back tomorrow. :)
