HOMEMADE BISQUICK

Although I am in the UK I do like Bisquick. Bisquick is available in most supermarkets here. I have discovered a few recipe's that use Bisquick but I didn't have any in my cupboard so I Googled how to make my own and the recipe below is what I found. I used my 'Weight Watchers' kitchen scales to recipe build the points.

*Note*
I found 1tb salt was a teeny bit too much for my liking.
I used a pastry blender to cut the butter/spread into the dry ingredients. These are FABULOUS!!

Ingredients
8 cups Flour (plain)
1 1/4 cup Non dairy dry milk
1/4 cup Baking powder
1tb Salt
2 cups I can't believe it's not butter, Light

Method
Combine flour, salt, milk powder and baking powder in a large bowl.
Cut in the light buter/spread so it resembles very fine breadcrumbs.
Use anywhere Bisquick is called for
Store in a cool place, I currently have mine in the freezer but if it goes solid then I will store it in the fridge.

5 Pro Points per 50g
